Workshops & Other ServicesCourse ListFacilitation ServicesCoaching ProgramsTalks by Martha Course List: The Art & Heart of Collaboration

A dynamic experience of the aptitudes, attitudes and practices that elevate teams and team members to higher ground in their work together. Intensive coaching, experiential process, and real-life work sessions offer transferable learning, both insight-based and skill-based.

"If your employees are already collaborating at 110%, no need to attend this workshop!" D.H., Austin, TX

Collaboration (from the Latin “colaborare”: to work together) is demanded of us almost every day. Yet often competing interests get in the way, sometimes even internally (“I really want our team to succeed” vs. “It’s important to me that I get the credit.”) School didn’t teach us how to manage differences and emerge with a cohesive, effective result.

The Art & Heart of Collaboration is active, fun, challenging, and profound. It will help participants align and clarify their actions and intentions, and will teach skills for effectively communicating and building agreements – even in the midst of conflict.

Participants will learn to
  • Clarify & focus collaborative intention and attention
  • Align competing interests from the inside & the outside
  • Know when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em
  • Mine the gold in hidden agendas
  • Build consensus
  • Enhance individual & group satisfaction and success
